Pregnant Pause 2010

Event Date: Thu September 09 2010

NOFAS-UK is a charity dedicated to preventing Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), permanent brain damage in children, caused when alcohol is drunk during pregnancy. A Flashmob (men & women) are needed to come to Victoria train station to "freeze" for the Pregnant Pause with balloons (supplied) under their t-shirts, looking pregnant, to show that alcohol should not be drunk for the 9 months of pregnancy. They will pose for 9 minutes of the 9th hour, of the 9th day, of the 9th month to show that it is only 9 months to abstain from alcohol. Please go to our website to see a previous Pregnant Pause and contact the NOFAS-UK office for further details.
