Scooter out of the Square Mile

Due to a number of requests the “in-line scooter in London” event has changed to a more social time of the day, a sunnier date and an easier location to get to.
Fancy a free awesome Phantom scooter and a natty bowler hat? Well then come and join us on 22 July at 7pm as we scooter out of the Square Mile and along the Thames Embankment from The Monument.
With the weather picking up and the credit crunch still alive, why not ditch the clammy tube or the unreliable bus, save some cash and scooter into town!
In-line scooters can be carried anywhere as they take up no room at all and they’re really easy to use. They also don’t need maintenance like bikes as there’s no chain to oil or wheels to inflate.
On average, us Londoners would walk about 2 – 3 miles between destinations, so why not get there quicker by flicking out your scooter and hitting the pavement? You’ll not only get there quicker but you’ll also be getting fitter, which is a welcome bonus!
Come and join us and scooter into town along the Embankment from The Monument in the Square Mile! We’ll bring the scooters and bowler hats. All you need to bring is balance!
We’ll be using the all new Phantom scooters from Hy-Pro, which includes awesome head and rear lights! They advise you that they are for people weighing 55 – 60 kg but it can still take my weight - which is secret!
