GLOBAL DAY OF ACTION WHICH IS TAKING PLACE ALL AROUND THE WORLD ON 12TH DECEMBER 2009!!
Global warming is an issue that is not being addressed with the attention it needs from governments around the world. With global emissions increasing by 29% between 2000 and 2008 (a quarter of this total is from manufacturing of goods in developed nations) and a prediction of a 6C rise on global temperatures, current efforts to reduce levels are clearly not working and they are not making a difference.
Now is our chance to make a statement and come together in an event which will not only be fun but show the government that we care about these issues! The more people that come, the more coverage the event will receive! We can also show New York and Sydney how it should be done! Let’s put ourselves and Southampton on the map, have a great day and enjoy the after party!!
