Glasgow Flash Mob #1 pulled out of the bag!
Glasgows first Flash Mob almost came to grief at the first hurdle but an inspirational idea saved the day and made it a great sucess.
"On Thursday I made a BIG mistake.
We had originally planned a flash mobbing event for Glasgow today for between 11am and 1pm.
We hadn't quite decided what or where, but that was our plan.
Together with friends and people who e-mailed us, we had over 70 people ready to go. And they would have brought their friends and their friends would have brought more friends.
But on Thursday I made a BIG mistake.
Another group had been planning a flash mob event for Glasgow only they wanted it to be next Saturday.
We couldn't understand why they wanted to wait, but all we got was talk of needing 500 or wanting maximium press publicity.
However we managed to convince them that this Saturday was better.
Believing that there are no leaders only the mob, we even let them choose where the hit was going to be and what it was going to be.
The deal was that on Friday they would inform their mob and we would do the same for us.
Friday morning we waited for the go ahead.
And we waited.
Then I asked what was happening.
They had decided next Saturday was better after all.
That's when I realised I'd made a BIG mistake."

did you hear what they did? it was not funny or even vaguely interesting. it was rather sad. a bunch of pish heads singing flower of scotland at a bus stop. hurrah for the genius that thought that up.
Can someone email with any info on the next flash mobbing planned for Glasgow. Make it on a weekend so more people can attend!
