Flashmob the Opera 2 - due Spring
We just had word that the BBC is to stage Flashmob the Opera 2 in Spring. The only other snippet was that it will be North of Birmingham but the venues are still being researched. There is a lot of Britain north of Birmingham so if any insiders know where they are thinking off let us know! (We won't tell a soul. Honest.)

We thoroughly enjoyed the flashmob on the BBC over the Xmas period - in fact phoned several people to tell them to watch - shame we didn't come in right at the beginning ourselves.
Would be interested in seeing the production of the next one, especially if it is north of B'ham as it would be nearer us in Derbyshire.

I watched it over Christmas too and thought it was brilliant !!!! I loved the singing PC's... they looked to be really enjoying themselves.

Oh I don't beleive it! I have been really proud of not saying 2004 instead of 2005 and have not failed once at work - and then I go and do that! I can assure everyone I did mean 2005 - this month! I have changed the graphic now. Thanks for pointing it out.
what's gowin on up north guys??? we deffinately need some more flashmob action! i can't seem to find anything online and that just cannot be the case. Flashmob the opera was stunning - although i reckon theres more spontinaity in theatre than in TV...
would love to know more about it though and a location would be a start!

I have it on VERY good authority that the next "flashmob the opera" will be in Sheffield's Meadowhall Shopping Centre, sometime in April
I've looked at the BBC3 website, it now says Yorkshire, not Midlands!! More info on the site from 24 March.
